MONSOON

MONSOON

I started painting a series on six seasons , I was able to paint the rains and the spring season. The painting was inspired by a photograph published in a local paper. A girl returning home in the evening is caught in the rain and the city traffic. She dreams of open spaces where drenched in the rain she waits for her love. Painted in oils it is a combination of realistic and traditional Indian art.
